The trolley ride could not have been slower. When Ralph and Felix saw the two kids get into Sugar Rush's game chairs the duo and Vanellope took the next trolley out. Being an old game, the trolley would be considered outdated.
"Can't this bucket of bolts go any faster?" Vanellope complained. "Felix, use that hammer of yours and bang this hunk of metal 'till it's a speed machine."
"Sorry ma'am, uh princess, uh president. My hammer FIXES things and this trolley isn't broken." Felix explained. "I'm sure you know the old saying."
"No I don't!" Vanellope yelled. "Who knows what those kids are doing with MY game!"
As Vanellope and Felix argued Ralph sat snuggly in the end cart. 30 years of riding this Nicelander sized cart Ralph learned two things. 1-It takes 3 minutes for the trolley to reach Game Central Station. 2-With his size s long as he didn't move the trolley wouldn't tip over. Ralph tried to drown out Vanellope's complaining, but he had his limits. Ralph reached over and grabbed Vanellope by her hoodie.
"Kid, can't you ever be patient? I'm sure whatever those kids are doing isn't code threatening." Ralph reassured. "Just calm down and we'll get there as soon as we can."
Vanellope didn't argue back. She knew that whenever Ralph hanged her by her hood he was serious. Without a word from her Ralph place Vanellope down as the trolley slowly continued on.

When the trolley finally came to a stop, Vanellope was the first to get off and she raced toward the exit to Game Central Station. She ran as fast as her small legs could take her.
"Hurry up you two!" She called back to Ralph and Felix.
The duo was just now getting off the trolley. To keep up with Vanellope, Felix started to jump ahead instead of walking. Ralph, however, just unstuck himself, as casually as possible, and walked toward the exit. He made no effort to try and keep up with Felix, but there was a reason for that.
"Hurry Ralph." Felix called back. Now he was in Game Central Station and Ralph was only halfway through the tunnel.
"Don't worry about me, go on ahead. I'll be right behind you guys."
Felix trusted Ralph and jumped ahead and followed Vanellope into Sugar Rush. When Ralph finally made his way to Game Central Station he stopped at the border where his game's plug met the powerstrip. In their haste Vanellope and Felix forgot why Ralph never leaves his game so quickly. Reluctantly Ralph pointed his finger across the border. Instantly an alarm blared and Surge Protector appeared.
"Hold it right there. You have been randomly selected for an inspection." He said once again.
"Really?" Ralph questioned, "I'm the only character within three plugs and I'm randomly chosen?"
It was true. Game Central Station was empty because during the days off most characters didn't leave their games or they just stayed in whatever game they were in. For thirty years Surge has always stopped Ralph from whenever he left or entered a game.
"I'd like to show you the randomizer program I run off of, but I can't." Surge excused.
"Alright fine, whatever." Ralph shrugged off, "My name is Wreck-It Ralph, I'm coming from my game 'Fix-It Felix Jr.', I'm going to the game 'Sugar Rush', and I always like to declare 'I hate you.' So can I just move on now?"
"Please wait for me to ask before you give any information." Surge explained.
Most days Ralph could take Surge's appearance as another annoyance of the day, but today Ralph could not deal with him. Today Ralph finally grabbed Surge with one of his colossal hands.
"Alright that's it," Ralph said while pointing at Surge with his free hand, "for the past thirty years you've 'randomly chosen' me and only me. I've asked other characters and guess what? The others who've been 'randomly chosen' are also bad guys. So here's what's gonna happen, you're going to let me come and go as I please and I won't tell everyone where the graffiti comes from."
"I don't know what you're talking about." Surge wheezed through a squeezed torso.
"'All your base are belong to us' Really, that's the best you could come up with?" Ralph teased.
Surge couldn't meet Ralph eye-to-eye after he said that. Surge's job wasn't the most rewarding. He had to find an outlet to curb his contempt. This whole time Surge thought he was careful to keep from being seen, but apparently not.
"Ok, ok, just let me go." Surge begged.
Ralph let Surge go and the defeated Protector disappeared in his usual electric spark. Ralph now ran towards Sugar Rush. When he entered the game's plug Ralph was relieved and surprised when Surge didn't show up.
"Can't believe that actually worked." Ralph said to himself.

The white flash was blinding, but only for a moment. Moments later the boy woke up. His eyesight was blurry, but after rubbing his eyes he sat in awe of new surroundings. He saw that he was in a forest, but it was no ordinary forest. Its trees were made of candycanes, bare candycanes. The grass was littered with lollipops and various treats. When the boy looked up he saw a candy pink sky and clouds looked as if they were made of cotton candy. As he continued to look around he noticed that the girl was missing.
"Oh great, that figures." He thought to himself.
The boy got to his feet and dusted himself off. That's when he noticed something else. His appearance changed. Looking over his body the boy saw that he was smaller and his head was bigger. It was if someone turned him into a chibi. Not only did his body change, but so did his clothes. They seemed, shinier.
"I wonder…" the boy thought. He licked the collar of his shirt. "Cherry?"
The boy did his best to take all this new information in, but then he remembered that the girl was missing. With this realization the boy slapped his palm against his forehead.
"If she woke up before me who knows where she is." The boy said to himself.
Now he started wander though the candycane forest looking for his companion. He wanted to call out for her, but one thing he learned in life is that if you call out for friends you're also calling out to your enemies. When he came near a tree the boy thought about climbing it.
"It'd be a better view, but if I fall…" he thought.
As the boy argued with himself he failed to notice something behind him.
"There you are." The girl said.
The sudden appearance of girl took the boy by surprise. It was such a jolt that the boy instinctively climbed the candycane tree without looking down. When the adrenaline wore off the boy found himself near the top of the tree. Again he was in awe of what he saw. Now the boy could see the candy, sweets, and treats themed landscape that is Sugar Rush. Its chocolate lakes, ice cream mountains, and taffy roadways. To him the boy thought he found every little kid's candy heaven. He kept staring out into the landscape until he noticed that the girl was trying to tell him something.
"What?" he asked.
The girl tried to repeat herself, but the boy still couldn't hear her.
"What!?" he asked again.
This time the girl tried shouting, but the only thing the boy could hear was "double-stripe."
"What does double-stripe mean?" the boy asked. Then he realized something, he was sitting on a candycane branch with double-stripes.
As the branch disappeared below him the boy now understood. He wanted to comment on the absurdity of a disappearing branch, but all he could do was scream. The boy was too scared from the situation that he couldn't reach for a nearby branch that flew by him. Faster and faster the ground came up to greet him. The boy thought this was the end until he smacked into the middle of, "A giant hand?" he thought.
When the boy looked up he saw a giant of a man holding him in a colossal hand. It took him a moment, but the boy realized who his savior was.
"Y-y-you're Wr-wreck-It…" the boy stuttered.
"Yeah, hi. I am Wreck-It Ralph, but I go by just 'Ralph'." Ralph introduced.
Now all the boy had seen, all that he had experience was too much. The boy's eyes rolled back as he fainted in Ralph's hand.
On opening day I saw the movie Wreck-It Ralph. It was an amazing movie. So great that I would mind seeing it again another 20 times. Anyway after it ended ideas started to run through my head. One of them was I thought how cool it was how the charcters traveled through the powercord of their arcade macines. This is just the beginning of the one ideas that got stuck in my head.

This chapter is partially about how much of an indoorsman the boy is. You can't really blame him for his reaction to Sugar Rush. I'd probably feel the same way before I sunk my teeth into the nearest piece of candy.
